Description
Painted en plein air on a glorious day towards the end of summer in Smithills, Bolton, Greater Manchester near to the old garden centre. I had originally set out on my bike with the panniers loaded with paints, brushes, fold up stool and easel with the intention of painting a different track. However, when I saw the effect of the morning light on this shaded track I changed my plans.
