Description
Acrylic on board painted en plein air during a week’s Scottish landscape painting trip to Knapdale. Despite the tranquility of this part of Scotland there was a gale force wind blowing across Loch Sween when I painted this from an isolated beach. The Paps of Jura seemed to change colour with every time I looked up from palette and my easel had to be weighted down with rocks!
