Description
This lino-cut forms part of a series from my “Artist-in-Residence” at The Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival 2018 in Colne. In this lino-cut I wanted to show Alan Nimmo fronting the band at the front edge of the stage and in the spotlight. I spent most of the King King set at Colne sketching from between a gap in the stage curtains. I was able to sketch Wayne Proctor, Lindsay Coulsen and Alan Nimmo from the back of the stage but little did I know that within a few months both Wayne and Lindsay were to leave the band.
