This lino-cut forms part of a series from my “Artist-in-Residence” at The Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival 2018 in Colne. I first came across Xander And The Peace Pirates when they performed at Wishbone Ash’s AshCon where I was bowled over by their live performance. This lino-cut is developed from my live sketches and photographs of Keith Xander, the band’s remarkable front-man.

This lino-cut forms part of a series from my “Artist-in-Residence” at The Great British Rhythm and Blues Festival 2018 in Colne. I really enjoyed sketching Matt Long (guitar and vocals) at The Muni Theatre, Colne. I had to work really quickly and I used the sketches to help me produce this lino-cut. I hope that I have succeeded in expressing some of Matt’s energy.
