This oil on canvas depicts the imminent arrival of heavy rain which was desperately needed following the dreadful moorland fires. On my way to the mast on top of Winter Hill I cycled past Fire Fighters who were still stationed on location so that they could deal with outbreaks of fire before the fire got out of control. Looking from the top of Winter Hill I knew I was about to extremely wet!
