Art Workshops

I have experience in Primary Education, Secondary Education (to “A” Level), Post-Graduate level as visiting lecturer to trainee teachers at University of Manchester and in Adult Education in Community Education programs in Oldham and Bolton. I have taught Painting, Printmaking, Drawing, Life Drawing and History of Art to adults in the community programs. In schools I have many years experience providing support and guidance to staff as part of “out-reach” duties as an Advanced Skills Teacher. I have also provided numerous workshops for a variety of mixed ability and age ranges (including Special Educational Needs) at art festivals and in community driven schemes. In 2015 I was commissioned by Bolton At Home and Bolton Council to work on a project with a local secondary school which culminated in me painting a series of eight murals in a subway under St. Peter’s Way (A666). I have recently completed a series of “Faith and Heritage” printmaking workshops for Bolton Council with local primary schools and community groups and I currently run an Art Class every Thursday morning 10-12 at Fusion Community Hub for all levels of experience.
